Network Upgrade: Transition to UnrealIRCd, Anope Services, and Website Refresh
We are upgrading our IRC infrastructure by migrating from our custom IRCD and services to UnrealIRCd and Anope, while WarPigs works on a complete website redesign.
We are excited to announce a major infrastructure upgrade for our chat network.
To provide a more stable, secure, and feature-rich environment, we are migrating from our custom-built IRCD and services to industry-standard solutions.
Moving forward, our network will run on UnrealIRCd paired with Anope IRC Services.
These platforms offer advanced security features, better performance, and superior channel management tools. Please note that our web chat client, jwebirc,
will remain unchanged and fully functional during and after this transition.
In parallel with these backend changes, WarPigs is currently busy rewriting and redesigning our entire website.
The goal is to create a fresh, modern look and update all documentation to reflect our new network setup.
