Getting Started

  1. Choose an IRC client or use the integrated webchat.
  2. Connect: /server irc.midiandmore.net 6667 (or SSL: /server irc.midiandmore.net +6697)
  3. Pick a nick: /nick MyNick
  4. Join a channel: /join #lobby
  5. Register your account (optional but recommended) – see Registration.
  6. Enable SASL in the client for automatic authentication.

SASL Example (HexChat)

Settings → Networks → MidiAndMore → enable 'Use SASL' → enter nick/password.

Basic Commands

  • /whois Nick – Info about a user.
  • /msg Nick Text – Private message.
  • /quit [Reason] – Disconnect.
