Then open the link in the email to activate.

Login / Authentication

/auth <nick> <pass>

Better: enable SASL so login happens during connect.

Change password

Password forgotten

/msg M requestpassword <email>

Set vHost

/msg h vhost <ident> <host>

Only once per week. Choose a neutral host (no abuse).

• Use a unique password
• Enable SASL instead of identifying after connect
• Never share your password
